Car Donations - **** Niche

I’m telling you folks, the REAL profitable niches are A LOT DIFFERENT from what you see in so called “profitable keyword lists”. Forget credit cards, home loans, car insurance and other nonsense. The niches that pay out may appear very strange and unexpected.

Like car donations! Car donations? Yes, you heard me right – car donations. If you live outside US, this may not make very much sense to you, but people here donate their cars to charities and write this off as a tax break. Say, you have a total clunker that doesn’t run that you wanted to get rid of. You donate your car to charity and get a fat tax break for that year (the value of the car, which is often judged much higher than what the car you donated is really worth, had you tried to sell it).

Of course, you can donate boats to charities too, but not too many people own boats, so car donations happens to be a rather big niche. The dirty little secret is that when you donate your car, you don’t really donate it to a charity.

Rather, there are “middleman” companies that take your donated car, pay cash to charities (a small fraction), and they either fix your car, part it out or sell it. Charities aren’t really equipped to deal with donated vehicles.

Now, think about that. Someone would give you something that worth several hundred to several thousand dollars (donated car) FOR FREE. Wouldn’t you love it? All you have to do to get that free money is to advertise. Web is perfect for that.

That why car donations is a very hot niche. Unfortunately, some of the advertisers are traffic arbitrage sites, which lowers you earnings, otherwise you’d make well over a dollar per click. Still, if you manage to create a popular website that lists all charities that accept car donations, you’ll make a ton of money with AdSense.

In order not to violate Google TOS, I rate niches with my own star system. ** - $0.20-$0.30 per click average, *** - $0.30-$0.50 per click average, **** - $0.50-$0.70 per click average, ***** - $0.70-$1.20 per click average. While I don’t mind sharing information on ***** niches, I don’t make this information publicly available because it would quickly kill these niches or get Google pissed off at me.

All AdSense niches were tested by me personally and your results shouldn’t be very different, unless your account was smart-priced, too much time passed since my testing, MFA got a hold of the niche or your site or traffic source sucks big time.
