I love reading about inventions. Sometimes there are incredible stories about inventors coming up with strangest ideas, like How Scratched CD Made One Man Multimillionaire. Pretty incredible, ain’t it?
Inventions are a great niche for me. First, it’s addictive. Inventions always make a great read. And there is a hungry crowd of wannabe inventors. Second, there are tons of patent lawyers, inventor consultants and other online advertisers, which is always good for your bottom line. Third, I am able to sell a lot of books as an Amazon’s affiliate on this subject.

I keep forgetting ordering these for myself to see how good they really are. I'm really pleased with the sales, though.
Anyhow, let’s sum it up.
First, there is a ton of inventions and inventors content you can repackage and put your own unique spin on, like “medical inventions” or “million dollar inventions” or “dumb inventions that made it big” or whatever. Second, this niche pays well. And third, inventions are great linkbaits and curiosity magnets.
In order not to violate Google TOS, I rate niches with my own star system. ** - $0.20-$0.30 per click average, *** - $0.30-$0.50 per click average, **** - $0.50-$0.70 per click average, ***** - $0.70-$1.20 per click average. While I don’t mind sharing information on ***** niches, I don’t make this information publicly available because it would quickly kill these niches or get Google pissed off at me.
All AdSense niches were tested by me personally and your results shouldn’t be very different, unless your account was smart-priced, too much time passed since my testing, MFA got a hold of the niche or your site or traffic source sucks big time.
